You CAN get paid to sing professionally.
Hi, I’m Grace. I’ve been singing for fun since I was a little kid in Christmas pageants and I’ve been paid to sing for the past 5 years in jazz bands, as a musical theatre director, and for private voice lessons.
It’s lovely to *virtually* meet you. I’m a mom of one and wife to a country-singin’ Marine. And my mission is to raise up a new generation of Catholic singers who adore the beauty of and understand the importance of sacred music.
I teach young ladies how to sing healthfully and how to share the rich musical traditions of the Catholic faith with their parish and their community. I also coach them to ace their theatre auditions!
That could be you: getting paid to sing!
Do you constantly wonder how to sing at Catholic weddings or local venues?
I help female musicians (from teens unsure about college to moms wanting to pursue their passions) stop wondering and start sharing their gift of music.
I LOVE coaching women to amplify their vocal technique. I’ll also teach you how to confidently perform on any stage AND to start a prosperous singing business (without losing your soul to the toxic music scene!)
Do you know a 13+ y/o gal who wants to make a few hundred dollars every weekend by singing?
From breathing to chanting, I teach ladies how to sing without losing their soul.
WORK WITH ME
If your question isn't answered down here, please reach out!
I love to motivate women (from college students to moms!) looking to make a side income by sharing their passion of music with the world (or even just their hometown). I also work on a limited basis with students preparing for auditions and ladies who have always wanted to sing (church choir, anyone?) but need a couple of lessons to whip their voice and self-confidence into shape.
I might not be! I’m certainly not for musicians who are interested in getting rich quick or in modernist mindset techniques. I’ve coached country singers, jazz vocalists, choirs, theatre ensembles and soloists–I am confident I can help you as well!
Depending on your preferred genre, there are plenty of venues to hire you! First and foremost, I teach young ladies how to sing Catholic weddings and funerals–there’s always a need for this! Jazz singers set up at Italian restaurants, wineries, or jazz festivals. Country musicians do well at BBQ joints, biergartens, and farmer’s markets. Once we work together to cultivate a set that highlights your vocal talents, I will walk you through the business aspects of being a singer–marketing, growing your audience, and setting your pay to name a few.
I’m currently in the certification process at the New York Vocal Coaching school and I earned my minor in performance studies from Texas A&M. My husband and I have performed live gigs at venues across the country (wherever we’re stationed: Texas, Virginia, Florida, and now South Carolina). And we own a recording studio, Front Porch Records.
I’ve performed in dozens of musicals (my favorite credits include Heather Chandler in Heathers and Gertrude McFuzz in Seussical). I’ve had 8.5 years of classical vocal training and music directed four musicals.
